A delicate, seedy nose with notes of cranberries, violets, fir wood and dried raspberries. A low keyed peppery note. Very, very good.
The taste is tight and dry with notes of a dried up blueberry pie, bakelite and iron. A fine dryness to the finish. Highly likeable in a dry, taut style.

2017 Dolcetto d´Alba, Sandrone
A young, spicy, upfront nose with notes of ripe blueberries, violet licorice, smoke and incense. Energetic and fine.
The taste is fresh and tight with notes of damsons, ripe blueberries, iron and ink. Perky tannins and a fine acidity. Very, very good. Same impression as when tasted at the estate in November 2018.
91p (tasted 2020/10)
