Two Bottles Of Pinot

2017 Auxey-Duresses, Domaine Jessiaume
A light, fine nose with notes of ripe red currants, cool tobacco, Asian spices and earth. Very nice.
The taste is medium bodied and finely structured with notes of red currants, rhubarb licorice and chalk. A fine acidity. Very, very good. 4+ years.

2018 Göcklingen Spätburgunder, Weingut Ehrhart
This Pfalz Pinot offers up a deep, complex nose with notes of raspberry, fried nuts, moist earth, chocolate biscuits and shoe cream. A very fine, low leyed sweetness. Very fine.
The taste is young and perky with notes of raspberry licorice, forest floor, herbs and sweet minerals. A very fine acidity. Balanced. Lovely.
