2008 Barolo Riserva, Giacomo Borgogno
Deep and earthy, this 14 year old Riserva shows of notes of dried raspberries, shoe polish, dry licorice and tiles. Very, very good.
The taste is more restrained with notes of dry asphalt, licorce, bakelite and earth. Needs time. A fine warmth in the finish. 6+ years.
