1993 Château de Marbuzet
The non cape champion, aka yours truly, of the 1993 vintage, opened this Bordeaux the other day. Glad I did. The nose is wide open and classic with notes of dried black currants, fresh stables, tobacco and pickled mushrooms. Very, very good.
The taste is mature and dry with notes of dried red and black currants, tiles, autumn leaves and tobacco. A medium long, sandy finish. Drinking perfect on this day.
