1985 Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru Les Marconnets, Simon Bize
A mature, deep, hedonistic nose with stunning notes of dried raspberries, rotten vegetables, raspberry vinegar and red beets. Like an autumn walk in the forest. Very fine.
The taste is round, sweet and mature with notes of overripe strawberries, violets, moist earth, tobacco and a very fine acidity. Long and elegant. Perfectly mature. This is why you cellar wines.
