2019 Brunello di Montalcino, Caparzo
An open, warm, earthy nose with notes of fried herbs, black cherries, smoke and hot Tuscan gravel. Very, very good.
The taste is velvety and fine with notes of sage, dried cherries, tobacco and earth. Nicely embedded tannins. A fine warmth. 5+ years.
