2023 Sainte-Agathe, Domaine Georges Vernay
A young, fresh, peppery nose with notes of violets, iron, pine resin and some meaty aromas. Very, very good.
The taste is cool, balanced and handsome with silky tannins, stalky in a delicate way and beautiful black fruit. A lovely Syrah that needs 4+ years in the cellar.
