A Bottle of Bubbly - 2005 Fleur de Passion, Diebolt-Vallois

2005 Fleur de Passion, Diebolt-Vallois
A fresh, young, pure nose greats you when you lift the glass to the nose. Very elegant notes of yellow apples, peaches, lavender, grilled lemons and freshly washed clothes drying in the wind. Very, very good. With air it fleshens out a bit and notes of cookie dough and ripe pears emerge.
The taste is young and crispy with nice acidity and notes of yellow apples, lavender soap, touch of vanilla and toast. A medium long, fresh finish. This is very good albeit very young. I´ll bet that this would be better in 3-5 years time, but I can´t see it reaching the heights of the 2002.
