2010 Château Larrivet Haut-Brion
The nose is just wonderful with its precision and focus. There are lovely notes of lemoncello, tangerines, band aid, freshly cut hay and smoke. A deep, oily character. Gorgeous. Very young.
The taste is big and brawny with stunning yellow fruit and notes of lemon cream, apricots, dry fudge and warm grass. A long, long, expressive finish with warmth and purity. There is lot to like here. Needs 5+ years to really unfold. Great wine.
