Reading Time!

I buy wines by the bottle and by the dozens, ordering (almost...) something every day. But wine books? Not that often. However, the other day I did something about that and ordered these. And a few more that are on their way.

Its gonna be great to read The Riesling Story by Stuart Pigott, update myself on the magic that is Bordeaux by Stephen Brook, dwelve in The History of Wine in 100 Bottles in the special way that is the writing of Oz Clarke and, of course, I will be eager to see how Kerin O'Keefe has described the foggy hills of Piedmonte and its winemakers.

To be honest, I have a prejudice towards the last book. In a book that focus on the great wines of Barolo and Barbaresco and the many fantastic producers, she has omitted Vietti from the chapter of Castiglione Falletto and Domenico Clerico from the chapter of Monforte d'Alba, and in the book altogether. That's like rewriting the Bible and omitting the Exodus (well, almost...:-)).
