Young Bordeaux - Grand Cercle Des Vins De Bordeaux

A couple of days ago I had the opportunity to taste through some bottles of young Bordeaux, mostly from the 2011 and 2012 vintage. Grand Cercle Des Vins De Bordeaux arranged the tasting with lots of proprietors and winemakers present.

I tasted wines from 21 estates and have listed them in points intervals below. Those marked with a * I found especially attractive and showing nice Bordeaux typicity.

Generally I prefered 2012 over 2011, the latter a bit lighter and in some cases a tad anemic.
