Sunday, after a great tasting dinner yesterday, I need some bubbles to return to reality...
2008 Grande Cuvée Brut, Collin-Guillaume
This 08 has a young, fresh nose with lots of freshly baked bread, gravel, elderberries and ripe lemons. Very good. Some grassy scents after a while.
The taste is dry and tight with notes of dried up passionfruit, lemon peel, gravel and stale bread. Medium long. A fine acidity. Very, very good. A perfect Sunday company.
