1993 Coonawarra Shiraz, Wynns

It is not only Italy that seems to have produced fine wines in the forgotten vintage of 1993.

1993 Coonawarra Shiraz, Wynns
A very fine, soft, mature nose with notes of dark raspberries, liquorice, warm herbs and a touch of mint. Very open and yummy. Medium deep.
The taste is mature and velvety with notes of dried blackberries, herbs, earth and asphalt. A fine warmth in the long finish. This is drinking really fine. Kept very well in the glass over the evening. Not to be saved for longer though.
