2010 Barolo Gabutti, Giovanni Sordo
A finely tuned, still youngish nose with notes of forest floor, luxuary soap, hard cherry candy, asphalt and the scent of an cool evening after a hot summer day. Very fine.
The taste is tight and focused with notes of dry licorice, hard cherry candy, smoke and fresh mushrooms. Sandy tannins. Long. Very, very good. 6+ years.
