2018 Barolo Brunate, Francesco Borgogno
A finely tuned, medium deep nose with notes of red currants, some strawberries, paint, forest floor and lots of licorice. Very, very good.
The taste is young and silky with notes of hard cherry candy, dry licorice, mushrooms and asphalt. A fine lenght. More linear than the 2019 which I recently tasted at the cantina - Barolista: A Couple Of Days In Piedmont - Visit To Francesco Borgogno.
