1991 Barolo La Luna E I Faló, Terre da Vino
Tasted eight years ago - Barolista: Some Nebbiolo´s Of Late - and this Nebbiolo, from a bad vintage, still performs. Not great by any means but after a loooong week and not needing anything complex, this does its thing. The nose is light and nice enough with notes of dry violets, dried red berries, shoe polish and earth.
The taste is medium bodied and dry with notes of old tobacco, dried red currants, herbs and earth. Not long but with a nice dried up warmth. A nice Nebbiolo touch.
