2004 Barolo Terlo Ravera, Marziano Abbona
A very fine, almost fully mature nose with notes of sugared coffee, red beets, ripe strawberries and licorice. A very fine dried up sweetness to the fruit.
The taste is silky and fine with notes of dried strawberries, forest floor, dried flowers and a hint of mint. A long, velvety finish. Very fine.
