2015 Coteaux Bourguignons, Louis Jadot
Coteaux Bourguignons became an AOC in 2011. This Jadot version sports a young, fruity nose with notes of red currants, ripening raspberries with some blueberries tossed in, fresh herbs, licorice and forest floor aromas. Perky and fine.
The taste is medium bodied with a fine acidity and notes of raspberries, spices and gravel, Very attractive, easy going but with substance and character. This could become a daily clunker in this house hold. A bargain for 12 Euro.
88p (tasted 2017/09)
