Eight Bottles Of Barolo

1980 Barolo, Coppo
A deep, laid back nose with lots of maturity and notes of moist undergrowth, dried cherries, candle grease and mosquito repellent. Holding up fine in the glass for a couple of hours.
The taste is medium bodied with a high acidity and notes of dried red fruits, mushrooms, gravel and dry tobacco. A fine warmth in the dry, medium long finish. Has kept well over the years.
