2008 Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs, Bonnaire
Another bottle from the the great 08 vintage. The nose is medium deep and fine with notes of yellow apples, oatmeal, dried fudge and summer flowers. A nice depth and a fine sweetness to the fruit.
The taste is young, dry and perky with notes of pickled ginger, lemon zest, dried flowers and lots of minerals. A fine acidity that cuts through the medium long, stony finish. Very chalky in the finish. 3+ years.
89p (tasted 2017/10)
