These two Dolcetto´s were tasted at our apartment in Castiglione Falletto.
2015 Dogliani San Luigi, Chionetti
Structured and fine on the nose with notes of ripening blueberries, earth, violets and Langhe gravel, with its own scent. Very good.
The taste is tight and seedy with notes of ink, blueberries and dark flowers. An irony character. Still young. 5+ years.

2015 Dogliani Superiore San Bernardo, Anna Maria Abbona
A deep, dense, concentrated nose with notes of bakelite, dark earth and dried up Drottningsylt (a raspberry/blueberry jam). Very, very good.
The taste is taut and distinct with sandy tannins and notes of violets, iodine, ripe blueberries and scorched earth. Very long. This needs time, 7+ years.
