2012 Brunello di Montalcino, Col d´Orcia
An open, forward nose with notes of hard cherry candy, fresh herbs, sun warm gravel and old shoe cream. Very fine. Beginning to mature.
The taste is medium bodied and steady with notes of balsamico marinated cherries, vintage leather and forest floor. A very fine warmth in the finish. A lovely drink today.
