2018 Brunello di Montalcino, Castello Romitorio
A ethereal, deep nose with notes of dried black cherries, veal stock, rosemary, Tuscan gravel and fine tobacco. Lovely.
The taste is tight and aristocratic with notes of smoke, dried cherries, expensive leather and herbs. A long, balanced finish. Still young, 6+ years.
