2018 Barolo Gramolere, Giovanni Manzone
One more note on this stunner of a Barolo, first tasted at the cantina in 2023, see link below. The nose is high and layered with notes of hard cherry candy, orange peel, rosehips and a hint of a very fine sherry vinegar. Lovely.
The taste is tight and refined with polished tannins, gorgeous cherry fruit and a long, balanced finish. 6+ years. Great wine.
