Today I reached two million page visits (when I write this 2.006.654 /10.399 today up to this point). It was 14 years, 4 months and 12 days since I posted for the first time.
That makes an average of 383 visits per day. 2.422 posts in total.
The two largest countries in terms of visits are USA (31%) and Sweden (20%).
But I have a rather ecclectic viewer base, just the last 24 hours I have visits from Brazil, Canada, India, Great Britain, Vietnam, France, Argentina and more. Kudos!
The last highlight: Barolista: One Million Page Views - A Fine Barolo Needs To Be Opened!
What to celebrate with? A Barolo of course!
2001 Barolo Pressenda, Marziano Abbona
Out of the gates there is a lovely, mature, delicate nose with notes of balsamic cooked cherries, red apples, paint and salt licorice. Lovely.
The taste is round and balanced with gorgeous dried sweet cherry fruit, silky tannins and a long, warm finish. In a perfect drinking stage.
